Thank you to everyone who made the last agenda for your PLs (2008) a great one.

JOB WEEK (TTDI)

Agenda : Job Week
Venue : Scout Den Vicinity, Taman Tun Dr. Ismail

0745: Boyscouts arrived at the Scout Den vicinity to prepare for job week held at TTDI.

0815: We had permission to start our journey. We started off by walking to Pasar Seni to take a bus to KL Sentral.

0850: We reached KL Sentral and waited for bus U82 to take us to TTDI.

0940: After TL Poh told us about the area, we started our money collection. At first we were not lucky, because most of the house owners wouldn't let us in or entertain us. But we got lucky once we were ahead of the other patrols.

1000: I divided my patrol into 2 groups consisting of 3 boyscouts each. Chores given to us were like washing cars, cleaning the house premise and mopping the floor.

1135: We decided to move on to a new area but before that we had our lunch at 7ELEVEN. We were lucky because the new area has not been visited by other patrols.

1400: We were at our last house of the day. We had to wash 2 cars and and clean windows.

1425: We started walking back to meet TL Poh. When we reached the place, boyscouts rest for 15 minutes because they were tired.

1500: Boyscouts had their lunch at KFC. After their lunch, we went home. Some followed TL Poh on the bus and some went home via their parents vehicle.

Job Week

Time : 0800 hours - 1500 hours
Agenda : Job Week
Venue : Scout den, Damansara Heights

0745: Boyscouts stared arriving at the Scouts Den wearing their full scout.

0815: After reminding my boys not to leave any equipments behind, we left for Pasar Seni for our bus.

0830: When we arrived at KL Cenral bus stop, we took bus U82 to Pusat Bandar Damansara.

0915: We move to the resident area to get some work and raise money. Most of the houses donated without need for us to do chores for them.

1130: We raised about RM177 at this time. So, without objection from my patrol, we moved to a new area which was Jalan Setiabakti.

1230: A generous couple paid us a few hundred so that we could clean two of his cars. We were delighted at the kindness of this people.

1300: We droped by at a house. They were so generous, they donated RM120 and gave us ice-cream and drinks to be eaten.

1420: We started our journey to go back to Pusat Bandar. There we calculated our earnings for the day. Our total was RM510. I was very happy at the amount of money that we collected. We were waiting at KFC for the other patrols.

1540: Those boyscouts who needed to go back to school, followed TL Poh back.

Sports Day 29 March 2008

Good job on Saturday!!! Congratulation on your 2nd place victory for marching. Your commitment and hard work paid off with a good perforance on Saturday.

I hope everyone will keep up the good work and will always strive and aim for the best. I hope that you will remember everything you learnt during the past week.

Agenda : Mini Treasure Hunt
Venue : Scout Den Vicinity, School Compound

0730 hours : Boyscouts and seniors started to arrive.

0800 hours : Due to a function was held in the hall, TL Poh told the PLs to change the base and task in the hall to behind Bengkel KH.

0830 hours : TL Poh fell in the troop and the PLs gave their reports. The boyscouts did some push-ups due to the unclean condition of the troop fall in area. After that, a new form one was installed into my patrol. Then TL Poh broke off the PLs and we ran to the Green Wall to hide there.

0900 hours : After getting the master clue, which is “ Yellow and Blue ”, the boyscouts ran to the Green Wall. I were the shadow of Hornbill patrol and I asked them run around the school field for 2 rounds. Then QM Sanjiva gave his report and I gave them a message “Beside nature” which leads them to the Koperasi.

0920 hours : They found the clue and quickly solve it. They get the message “Sultan S” which leads to VIOBA.

0950 hours : They reached VIOBA and began to find for the clue.

1020 hours : After they found their clue, they solved it and get the message “True Blue” which leads them to form six’s block.

1100 hours : They found their clue at the form six’s block and solved it. After that, I had to go back due to some circumstances and SPS Loke took over and continue to become the shadow of Hornbill patrol.

1230 hours : TL Poh fell in the troop and announced that there was no winner for this
agenda. Then TL Poh dismissed us after we sing the troop song.

Base Games

Date : 16th of February 2008
Time : 0730 hours ~ 1330 hours
Agenda : Base Games
Venue : Scout Den Vicinity & School Compound

0730 hours : A few boyscouts arrived and gathered at th scout den vincinity.

0745 hours : PL Daniel taught boyscouts simple knots. The other boyscouts arrived.

0800 hours : TL Poh with the PL’s taught the boy scouts about first aid. They learnt the basic that is needed to learn about First Aid.

0900 hours : TL Poh fell us in. After PL’s gave their patrol report to TL Poh, we were given attendance push-ups. TL Poh broke us off to form a double horse-shoe. TL Poh explained about Base Games. TL Poh broke us off and asked us to change to our P.E attire before starting the agenda.

0915 hours : TL Poh told every PL about their first base. Fox’s patrol first base was at the Form 6 block.

0920 hours : After completing our warm-up which was to run around the Quadrangle for 3 times, Fox Patrol went to their first base.

0935 hours : We reached our first base. At this base we had to throw and egg through a gap between a chair safely withought cracking it. We managed to complete the task withought cracking it. For bonus, a Form 1 must consume the egg raw. Nicholas managed to complete the bonus.

0955 hours : We moved on to our next base was to construct a star using shoe-lasses. After completing the task, our bonus was to walk while our feet were connected to each other. We completed this bonus.

1030 hours : Our next base needed us to burn a lashing rope above the ground with a bon fire. After completing it, we had to do commander crawl for our bonus.

1045 hours : This base needed us to use our accuracy. We had to throw coins inside a cup which was inside a bucket. We manage to get most of it in. After that the form 2’s and form 1’s needed to perform the invisible chair. After completing it, our bonus was to run to the canteen for our next base.

1130 hours : Here we needed to reach our hand into a bucket full of ice to find coins. We manage to get three 5cents coins and seven 1cent coins. For our bonus, form 1’s and form 2’s needed to soak our feet inside the ic bucket for 2 minutes. Only six out of ten manage to complete this task.

1230 hours : We returned to the scout den vicinity to change to our mufty.

1245 hours : TL Poh fell us in. He announced the 1st runner up was fox patrol and the winner for the agenda was tiger patrol.

1300 hours : After they were given their Chinese New Year oranges, PL’s dismissed the boy scouts.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR

Cooking Competition

Date : 2nd of February 2008

Agenda : Cooking Competition

Venue : Scout den Vicinity, Behind Bengkel KH

0745 : My boyscouts and I arrived at school. I fell them in and organised the items that we will be cooking.

0800 : Form 2's and Form 1's collected twis and dried leaves so it can be used to start and maintain our fire.

0830 : TL Poh fell in the troop to brief us about the rules and regulations and the time to present our dishes. After TL Poh and TL Bryn checked our attire, the agenda started.

0900 : After changing to our PE attire, we started our cooking by starting the fire. Our Theme was Japanese.

0930 : While the Form 1's and I cooked the dishes, Derrick and Subhan were maintaining the fire and Jeevan and Dhiva were preparing to cook the next dish.

1000 : We finished cookin our main dishes which were; Kobe' Lamb, Udin Mee, Tempura Prawn and roasted black-pepper chicken. The remaining dishes tha needed to be cooked were Koyuko Jelly and Green Tea.

1030 : When we finished cooking all of our dishes, Dhiva lead the whole patrol on how to decorate the dishes.

1100 : Each patrol started to present their dishes to the seniors. Fox Patrol was the 4th patrol to present the dishes. After presenting TL Poh said that we did a good job.

1200 : TL Poh fell in the troop to announce the winner of the agenda. Fox Patrol had won this agenda. After TL Bryn told us the criteria that was taken into count to choosing the winner, TL Poh dismissed the whole troop after singing the Troop Song.

1230 : I dismissed my boyscouts and told them that i was a satisfied with their performance.

Cooking Competition

Cooking Competition as it is called means that each patrol would have to compete to have the best dish among the boyscouts patrol.

Basically each patrol would have to have:

2)Main Dish

3)Patrol Speacial

4)Desserts

5)Drinks

Scavenger Hunt

Time : 0730 hours ~ 1330 hours
Agenda : Scavenger Hunt
Venue : Scout Den Vincinity & School Compound

0730 : Boysouts arrived in school to get ready for Scavenger Hunt.

0815 : TL Poh fell in the troop to gave the list of things to find for Scavenger Hunt.

0900 : After TL Poh broke us off, PL's organized the boyscouts to find the list of things to find. Form 2's were given the duty to handle and explain about Scavenger hunt to the form 1's. Boyscouts were off to find the list of things. PL's from Fox, Lion & Tiger went out together to get the things that could not be found in the school compound.

1100 : PL's returned and told the Boyscouts to arranged the things that they found, so it could be represented to the Seniors for inspection. All the Patrols gave a good performance.

1230 : After TL Poh announced the winner for the agenda was Lion Patrol, the Seniors 'floured'
them.

1300 : The Troop Song was sang by the Boyscouts and Seniors. We were all dismissed by TL Poh. All the patrols had a short meeting and the boyscouts were dismissed by the PL's.

Troop Meeting & Installation

Date : 16th of January 2008
Time : 1430 hours ~ 1700 hours
Agenda: Troop Meeting & Installation
Venue : Scout Den Vincinity

1430 : After school ended, boyscouts arrived the Scouts Den vincinity for Troop Meeting.

1500 : TL Poh fell in the boyscouts to start the troop meeting. After breaking off and forming a double horse-shoe, we started our installation for Form 1's and Form 2's. A total of 12 new recruits were installed. TL Poh also announced that this Saturday's agenda will be Scavenger Hunt.

1600 : After TL Poh dismissed us, PL's had a short patrol meeting to explain more about Saturday's agenda and to hand out the permission letters.

1630 : PL's fell in the boyscouts to remind them about Saturday's agenda. PL's Dismissed the boyscouts.

Installation Of Form 1'S & Mini Olynpics

Date : 13th of January 2008
Time : 0700 hours ~ 1300 hours
Agenda: Installation Of Form 1'S & Mini Olynpics
Venue : Scout Den Vincinity, Basketball Court, Field

0700 : PL's and Form 2's reached school and waited at the Mini Clock Tower to usher the Form 1's to the Scout Den's vincinity.

0830 : TL Poh fell in the Troop to mark the start of Form 1's installation. After TL Poh and TL Bryn checked the Boyscouts attire, the Form 1's started to introduce themselves in the middle of the Horse-shoe.

1030 : TL Poh distributed the Form 1's evenly to each Patrol. After the Form 1's settled themselves into their respective Patrols, TL Poh announced that it was time for Mini Olympics. TL Poh gave the boyscouts 10 minutes to change to their jogging attire and to straight away go to the basketball court. We were ther to start a Futsal game.

1130 : After we finished a game of 'futsal', we carried on with an original game from VSG called Scout Ball. Form 2's were given the duty to explain the rules of the game to Form 1's while the PL's were briefed by TL Poh the fixture list. First up was Animals against Birds. Then it was Boyscouts versus the Seniors. Although we Boyscouts lost to the seniors, we learnt that quantity doesn't really mean quality.

1215 : The game was ended by TL Poh. After changing to our Mufty, TL fell in the boyscouts and ended the Troop Meeting by singing the Troop Song.

1230 : All the Patrols had a brief meeting to announce the posts for the Form 2's.

1245 : The PL's dismissed the boyscouts.

Saturday's Agenda

Installation Of Permanent Patrols

Date : 9th of January 2008
Time : 1430 hours - 1730 hours
Agenda : Installation of Permanent Patrols
Venue : Scout Den Premise

1430 :Boyscouts and Seniors started to prepare for Installation of Permanent Patrols.

1500 :After the Boyscouts changed into their fullscout, they started to clean the premise of the Scouts Den. After all TPL’S gave their report, TL Poh checked the boyscout’s attire and announced the permanent Patrol for 2008. PL Han Ming, PL Sujev Kumar, PL Iqbal Lutfi, PL Daniel Hafiz, PL Ren Pei and PL Khai Hsuen were put in-charge of Eagle, Falcon, Hornbill, Fox, Lion and Tiger Patrol respectively. After TL Poh announced the permanent patrols for the Form 2’s, The PL’s marched to the middle and recited the scout promise.

1700 :After we established a double-horseshoe, TL Bryn gave some advice about upholding our duty. Then, TL Poh announced that this Saturday’s agenda would be Mini Olympics.

1730 :After TL Poh dismissed us, all Patrols had a short patrol meeting and went home.
